Football tournament to mark the 58th anniversary of Bau Bang victory kicked off

Yesterday morning (November 12), Bau Bang district’s Center for Culture, Sports and Radio organized an 11-a-side football tournament to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the Bau Bang victory (November 12, 1965 - November 12, 2023).

The tournament absorbed the participation of 2 football teams. The first team included players from 9 communes and towns in the district while the second one was allied with players from 9 districts, towns and cities in the province. This is an annual activity organized by Bau Bang district on each occasion to celebrate important national and local holidays.

This was also an opportunity for everyone to review the meaning of the Bau Bang victory - the resounding victory of the army and people of the South at that time while connecting localities and spreading the sports movement, especially developing football.
