In the work of ensuring traffic safety, the city’s Traffic Police Team has coordinated with provincial Traffic Police force and professional teams to deploy 36 checkpoints with nearly 330 officers and soldiers. They are divided into 2 rounds. The outer round has 7 checkpoints with Traffic Police, Mobile Police and Order Police responsible for checkpoints on Binh Duong Avenue. Meanwhile, according to reporters, on the morning of February 21, Di An city’s Traffic Police Team in coordination with Binh An ward’s police force in Di An city ensured traffic safety and security in the area of Chau Thoi pagoda in Binh An ward. In the Spring of the Dragon 2024, Chau Thoi Pagoda, a national-level historical relic opened to welcome tourists from many places. To ensure security and order, leaders of Di An city’s Police Agency have directed units and Binh An ward’s police force to implement solutions to maintain security, fire safety, prevent thieves and solicitation.

Particularly, Di An city’s Police Agency have propagandized and reminded parking lot owners to strictly comply after signing a commitment on parking prices; be responsible for reminding vehicle owners to check and bring valuable assets with them. Parking lots must have fences, roofs, install protective, surveillance support equipment; regularly maintain inspection and ensure fire safety during the process of keeping vehicles storage and trading in goods; not to encroach on business or trade, causing traffic obstructions and urban disorder in this area. In addition, the local police force has required establishments to save and widely publicize the hotline phone number of the ward’s police so that when there is an incident related to security and order, they can immediately notify it for timely solutions as stipulated.

Also at this time, Di An city’s Traffic Police Team has inspected many vehicles transporting passengers to Chau Thoi pagoda to strictly control related documents, badges and number of passengers in comparison with the actual number of designed seats. Representative of Di An city’s Traffic Police Team said that this work will continue being regularly coordinated and maintained by the unit to ensure that there is no loss of order, urban beauty and traffic safety in the area of Chau Thoi pagoda.

Binh An ward’s police force requires owner of the parking lot to regularly check and ensure fire safety during hot days

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Trinh, Deputy Head of Thu Dau Mot city’s Police Agency, in addition to implementing a plan to ensure fire prevention and fighting during the dry season, before, during and after the 2024 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, the city’s police force has organized many propaganda campaigns and inspection tours of fire prevention and fighting work at the local pagodas; coordinated with Phu Cuong and Hoa Phu wards’ police forces to guide and propagandize about fire prevention and rescue at parking lots during the annual Thien Hau Lady temple festival while ensuring permanent combat at security posts, arranging permanent forces and means, being ready when fire or explosion incidents occur.

To ensure fire safety during the annual Thien Hau Lady temple festival, Thuan An city’s police force has assigned professional teams to organize inspection tours of business locations near Thien Hau Lady temple; strictly handled cases of not posting prices or providing services at incorrect prices. The city’s Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team has also assigned soldiers in charge of the area to inspect, instruct and practice firefighting plans at Thien Hau Lady temple in Lai Thieu ward and Thien Hau Lady temple in An Thanh ward.
