Update: 14-06-2013 | 00:00:00

Young soldiers

As excellent and obedient pioneers, young soldiers have taken charge of monitoring classes to find out pupils violating regulations.

In addition, the young soldiers have mobilized classmates not to let out wastes and reminded pupils to obey regulations of traffic safety and so on.

Le Ngoc Trinh, head pioneer of Tan Binh secondary school’s pioneer union in Di An town, said “I am very happy to be a young soldier. I can help my classmates become obedient pupils with good academic results”.

These young soldiers have sometimes played role as mediators to solve conflicts. Many of them have good actions like repaying lost things for people or subscribing old notebooks, clothes and learning aids for poor pupils and many more.

For children’s future

With love for children, Binh Duong youths have spent special love for children across the province. By many forms of raising piggy banks, small plans, charity rice jars, young pioneer unions subscribed over VND300mil to grant gifts and scholarships to poor pupils. Therefore, the Young Pioneer Unions in districts and townships held many folk games for pupils.

The program of “Lighting Binh Duong children’s dreams” has really become a significant address for teenagers to overcome difficulties in life.

From scrap papers to wastes such as empty cans or bottle caps, etc, pupils collect into a big amount of money to raise funds for Ho Van Men scholarship. Therefore, in the past school year, hundreds of poor pupils have enjoyed assistance. In addition, many localities have positively implemented socialization work to take care of children.

Addressing the opening ceremony of “Month for children 2013”, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi, head of the provincial steering board of summer campaign urges agencies at all levels and the entire society to pay special attention to children. Possibly speaking, this is a great joy for poor children in particular and local kids in general to become useful people for society.
