For the goal of green growth

Action plan on green growth of Binh Duong province in 2022-2030 period has the main goal of restructuring the economy in combination with renovating the growth model, raising awareness and actions of people and business community in applying advanced technologies into production, contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions towards a carbon-neutral economy. Over the past time, with the selective redirection of investment attraction, Binh Duong continues to effectively attract foreign investment capital. This is an important foundation for the province to move towards green industry, clean energy, renewable energy and environmental protection for sustainable development.

While the global economy is facing many difficulties, FDI still flows strongly into the province. Recently, FDI inflows into Binh Duong have undergone a rapid change in quality, especially attracting many investors in fields of high technology, electronics, renewable energy... With aspiration, vision, innovative thinking, and performance capacity, Binh Duong determines and is determined to realize the goal of building Binh Duong into a modern industrial center, smart city, and innovation region, to be creative and become a driving force for the development of the region and the whole country with specific master plans and plans being implemented.

Accordingly, the province continues to restructure the industry, upgrade existing industrial parks into smart industrial parks to focus on modernizing existing industries... The province's policy of calling for investment has shifted to selectively attracting investment in enterprises with high technology and added value. In investment attraction, the province selects and prioritizes investors who strongly apply high technology in association with environmental protection to create a harmony between socio-economic development and green growth.

Becamex IDC Corporation and Sembcorp Development LTD Company (Singapore) signed a memorandum of understanding in mid-February on cooperation in forming and developing 5 green, smart and sustainable oriented industrial parks in Vietnam. This is a testament to Binh Duong's efforts to realize green growth goals.

With the orientation of transforming the industrial development model, including upgrading existing industrial parks as well as building green and smart industrial zones and clusters with the ability to provide 4.0 technology platform. Towards the formation of industrial - urban - service zones tied to science and technology to promote research, development and innovation activities, digital service industries, and the digital economy, contributing to bringing Binh Duong to a higher position in the industrial value chain to build a new ecosystem of green growth.
