For the goal of developing rural youths in the industrialization period, since 2007, provincial Youth Union has teamed up with provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to implement some support programs for rural youths, making positive changes in their awareness of rural development. Also, there have appeared many effective models on cultivation and animal husbandry models with high economic efficiency, helping the local rural youths stabilize their lives.

 To continue upholding the above positive efficiencies, provincial Youth Union and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has made a cooperation program at higher level to support the local rural youths. Under the program, the local rural youths will be equipped knowledge about the State’s policies regarding rural development, sci-tech advancements…The program will also brace up them to take existing advantages to rise up for wealthy to form a new farmer force, which is adaptable to market economy and integrates into the international economy…

Many concrete programs have also been set up to achieve the above-mentioned target, including developing at least 20% of new books for the Youth Unions in the rural areas; making surveys to offer timely help to poor rural youths; promoting the effective agricultural production models…This will be orientations about the agricultural production models at market’s demand. Especially, there is an emphasis about promoting the models of breeding pigs, cows, chickens, growing perennial trees and aquaculture in areas along the rivers; the models of breeding porcupines, goats, crocodiles…at young households…

Apartedly, localities will gradually form up tentative models, new production-business ways, consultancy on agricultural production for the local rural youths…Outstanding rural youths in production-business, collectives and individuals who well realize support activities for rural youths…will be honored and awarded provincial-level certificates of merit at year-end, aiming to create an animated learning environment among rural youths.

With such positive moves, it is believed that there will be more and more competent farmers in the rural region of Binh Duong.
