Foreign investment attraction increases by 74% over the same period

According to the Department of Planning and Investment, from the beginning of the year to July 15, 2022, the province attracted USD 2.54 billion of foreign investment capital, increasing by 74% over the same period in 2021. Of which, 39 projects were new investment projects of USD 1,794 million; 13 projects with capital increase of USD 17 million and 97 projects with capital contribution of USD 733 million.

Accumulated up to now, the province has 4,059 foreign investment projects with a total capital of USD 39.6 billion. Binh Duong is currently ranked 2nd in the country in terms of attracting foreign investment capital after Ho Chi Minh city. Of the attraction, Taiwan is at the forefront with 860 projects and total investment capital of USD 6.2 billion; the second is Japan with 335 projects and total investment capital of USD 5.8 billion; in the third is Singapore with 277 projects and a total capital of USD 5.4 billion.
