Fostering rural tourism in new-style rural construction

Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan on implementing provincial rural tourism development program in new-style rural construction in the 2021-2025 period.

Accordingly, the plan has set out specific goals to 2025, including developing and striving to standardize rural tourism destinations and products; striving to have at least 1 recognized rural tourist destination associated with advantages in agriculture, culture, craft villages or ecological environment; promoting rural tourism development in association with the digital transformation process; striving to have 50% of rural tourist destination recognized for digitization and connection on tourism promotion and advertising pages by digital technology. The province will also strive to reach 100% of rural tourist sites to be introduced and promoted; have at least 50% of rural tourist sites with application of electronic transactions in tourism activities; obtain 80% of rural tourism establishment owners trained in tourism management; have 80% of rural tourism workers trained to serve tourists.
