Fourth “Green Sunday” campaign launched

Early September 18, Thu Dau Mot city’s Youth Unions at all levels launched the “Green Sunday” campaign.

Accordingly, they participated in collecting, classifying and treating  waste; cleaning up self-governing youth streets; propagandizing to raise public awareness of the harmful effects of plastic waste, limiting the use of single-use plastic products, nylon bags, replacing plastic bags with environmentally friendly products…

Youth Union members make environmental sanitation in response to the “Green Sunday” campaign

*On the morning of the same day, the emulation compound No. 1 of provincial Agencies – Enterprises Bloc’s Youth Union in collaboration with the Inspection Board of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism simultaneously removed illegal ads on roads in Thu Dau Mot city. The Youth Union branch of Bau Bang Industrial and Urban Development Enterprise under provincial Agencies – Enterprises Bloc’s Youth Union held a ceremony to launch the “Green Sunday” campaign with such significant activities as cleaning up streets,  removing illegal ads on roads; collecting and classifying waste under the "Green life, clean contributions" program.

*Previously, Thuan An city’s Youth Union directed all its branches to simultaneously launch the “Green Sunday” campaign with the theme of "Classifying waste - For a green Vietnam".
