Friendly football match played to celebrate 50 years of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations

On the afternoon of November 20, a friendly football match between Becamex Binh Duong Club (B.BD) and Kawasaki Frontale Club (Japan) took place at Go Dau Stadium (TDM City). This was an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations (1973-2023).

Attending the match, on the Japanese side, there was Yamada Takio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in Vietnam. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of Binh Duong Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; attended the ceremony.

Before the match was played, Yamada Takio said: "I hope that through the match will help strengthen the friendship between Vietnam and Japan on occasion of the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries."

Since coming to Vietnam and participating in international U13 tournaments in Binh Duong, along with friendly matches with B.BD, the Kawasaki Frontale Club have contributed to strengthening the friendship relationship between the two countries.
