Fruit shaping contest held

To celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National unification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024) and International Labor Day (May 1), the 2024 fruit shaping contest with the theme of "Fruit tray for the king" was held in at Tuong Binh Hiep communal house in Thu Dau Mot city’s Tuong Binh Hiep ward on the morning of May 1.

Accordingly, within 90 minutes, artisans and people from 10 units, including 8 quarters of Tuong Binh Hiep ward and 2 others units used raw materials such as fruits, flowers and leaves to make unique and beautiful fruit trays shaped like dragon mascots.

As a result, the organization board of the contest awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, 2 consolation prizes and 5 movement prizes to the units participating in the contest. The contest aimed at maintaining and developing the local cultural movement while creating conditions for artisans and people to have the opportunity to share mutual experience in creating artistic works from fruits.
