On the afternoon of December 13, the Provincial Social Insurance (PSI) held a launch ceremony for a program aimed at providing social insurance books and health insurance cards to those in need for the year 2024, with the goal of bringing a warm Tet celebration to the less fortunate in Spring 2025.
During the launch ceremony, various agencies, units, and enterprises pledged their support to this initiative, contributing nearly 500 million VND. Since 2020, the Provincial Social Insurance has collaborated with local agencies, organizations, and businesses to organize events that distribute social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult situations.
In 2023, the Provincial Social Insurance worked with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to donate 1,140 social insurance books and 7,662 health insurance cards, amounting to nearly 2.6 billion VND. Additionally, in the first nine months of 2024, 1,000 health insurance cards were provided to lottery ticket sellers in the area, with a total contribution of over 1.2 billion VND.
The program not only promotes humanitarian values but also enables many individuals to access medical services, providing them with opportunities to improve their lives and uplift their circumstances.
