Further promoting “Vietnamese youths study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings” campaign

Binh Duong Daily had an interview with provincial Youth Union Vice-Secretary cum Head of provincial Steering Board of the “Vietnamese youths study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings” campaign Nguyen Khoa Hai about the results of the campaign after five-year implementation. He said:

After being implemented, the “Vietnamese youths study and follow Uncle Ho’s teaching” campaign has received strong response from officials of the local unions and association as well as their members. More importantly, the campaign has promoted the movement of training and following Uncle Ho’s exemplary morals, contributing to pushing back the degradation in political ideology, thought, morality, social evils and forming up virtues among collectives and individuals. It has been also closely linked with the political tasks of each agency and unit…

 Provincial Youth Union receiving the first-class Labor Medal Could you tell us about the achievements done by the local youths in implementing the campaign?

Provincial Youth Unions and its affiliates have created many models to realize the campaign. Especially, during the annual Youth Month, they registered, worked out nearly 5,000 youth works worth over VND10bln; organized talk shows on Uncle Ho’s exemplary morals; held “Return to the Roots” trips, writing contests on “Bright examples around me”…Many new models and exemplary role-models have also been discovered from the campaign.

What about the new models, exemplary role-models from the campaign?

The models “The Youth Union follows Uncle Ho’s teachings”, “The Youth Union and Journey following Uncle Ho's footprints” of Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company’s Youth Union have contributed to raising the company’s production-trading efficiency.

The Youth Union of Di An town has also created many effective models in the implementation of the campaign, including the models “My family follows Uncle Ho’s teachings”, “Saving bamboo culinder”…

Many other effective models have also been realized by the local Youth Unions of provincial Police Agency, Dau Tieng Rubber Corporation, provincial Business Bloc…, contributing to promoting the campaign. Also through the models, the campaign has contributed to create the image of Binh Duong youths who are very flexible, voluntary in all fields…

Could you tell us some experience to further promote the campaign?

To further promote the campaign, we need to have regular leaderships of the local Party organizations at all levels; speed up dissemination work by many forms, implement the campaign among Youth Union officials and members in a synchronous way…

The local Youth Union officials and members also have to research by themselves to be able to more profoundly understand about Uncle Ho’s exemplary morals, contributing to successfully realizing the campaign in the coming time.
