On the morning of August 24, a delegation of the Central Economic Commission (CEC), led by Do Ngoc An, Deputy Head of the CEC, had a working session with the province about surveying the implementation of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Directive No.37-CT/ TW dated September 3, 2019 on strengthening leadership to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the new situation (briefly called the Directive No.37 of the Secretariat) .
After 4 years of implementing the Directive No.37 of the Secretariat, there has been a drastic change in the perception of the local Party committees, authorities, cadres, civil servants, public employees, businesses and employees on the task of building up harmonious, stable and progressive relations in the new situation. Many guidelines, mechanisms and policies of provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee together with programs and plans of departments, agencies and units were promulgated, contributing to improving harmonious and stable relations in the new situation. The province’s departments, sectors and localities were proactive to have close coordination in the prevention and settlement of labor disputes, thereby reducing the situation of labor disputes occurring in the province.
At the working session, members of the CEC’s delegation spoke highly of the leadership and direction of provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and departments, agencies, and mass organizations that have well implemented the contents of the Directive 37 of the Secretariat, especially the task of strengthening propaganda and dissemination of policies and laws in building up harmonious, stable and progressive relations in enterprises while emphasizing that the good implementation of Directive No.37 of the Secretariat has helped business owners and employees understand policies, laws, legal rights and interests when participating in labor relations between employers and employees.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. An also noted that Binh Duong needs to promote lessons learned to further set out tasks and solutions to well implement the Directive No.37 of the Secretary in the near future.
