GAP-oriented development of unisexed tilapia

Provincial Center of Farming Promotion just supported farmers in Long Tan Commune of Dau Tieng District to implement farming promotion project of developing unisexed tipalia under GAP orientation. Before hand, the center chose 3 households in Bo Cang Hamlet for their favorable ponds and enthusiasm to develop the model of 10,000 square meters of water surface. Accordingly, the participating households shall be supported 100% of the breeds and partial of feeds and bio products thanks to the fund of nearly VND 76 million from May to the end of December 31, 2013. Unisexed tipalia is on the show at the implementation spots The project has been implemented in Tuyen Quang, Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Dac Lac, Lam Dong, Binh Duong, and Thanh Hoa to help farmers reduce their production costs.Reported by T.Ly – T.
