The Vietnam Garment and Textile Association said the shortage of manpower is now a big challenge for Vietnam garment and textile industry. The shortage of laborers has happened year-round across garment enterprises, so a huge demand on manpower for the industry is needed throughout big garment companies.

To improve this status, the association is implementing a pilot dialogue model between employers and laborers and asking the companies to remove their factories to rural areas to solve the shortage.
