Get-together marking Int’l Women’s Day held
On the afternoon of March 6, Thu Dau Mot city’s Labor Union held a get-together on the occasion of the 109th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8, 1910-March 8, 2019), the 1979th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung (two Trung sisters) Uprising and the International Day of Happiness (March 20).
At the get-together, delegates were provided knowledge, experience and necessary skills in keeping family happiness…, thereby helping them get concrete insights about the role of family members in building up well-off, equal, advanced and happy families.
On this occasion, the city’s Labor Union donated 16 gifts worth VND500,000 each to women with fatal diseases and female workers with extremely difficult circumstances.
