Get-together marks 72nd anniversary of August Revolution, National Day

Early August 30, Bau Bang district’s Party Committee, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee grandly held a get-together to mark the 72^nd anniversary of August Revolution (August 19, 1945) and National Day (September 9, 1945-September 9, 2017). Attending the event were Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council.

At the get-together, representative of the district delivered a speech to review the glorious tradition of August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Upholding the victorious spirit of August Revolution and two resistance wars against foreign invaders as well as the heroic tradition of Bau Bang homeland, the local Party, government and people have made efforts to victoriously realize the programs and goals of the Resolution of the 11^th local Party congress for the 2015-2020 tenure. All contribute to soon developing Bau Bang into a civilized and modern urban-industrial hub.

On this occasion, the district’s People’s Committee posthumously bestowed the “heroic Vietnamese mother” title to Le Thi May in Lai Uyen commune; awarded the third-class Labor Medal to Nguyen Thi Quynh Giao in Lai Uyen commune; awarded the 30, 45, 50 and 55-Party membership insignias to 28 Party members…
