Get-together marks Vietnamese Teachers’ Day
Early November 15, Thuan An town’s Former Teachers’ Association held a get-together to mark the 35th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982-November 20, 2017).
At the get-together, delegates reviewed the 35-year tradition of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and memories with many generations of pupils. Some also performed special art items, making the get-together become more significant.
The local Former Teachers’ Association now has a total of 383 members with 22 groups in An Thanh and Lai Thieu wards. In 2017, the association has organized a lot of activities taking care of members’ lives with a total expense of VND150million. Members of the association have also taken part in such activities as making “acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals”, building up a learning-based society…
