Get-together to celebrate 48th anniversary of South Liberation and National Reunification held

*My Thanh secondary school inaugurated

Early April 27, Ben Cat town held a get-together to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Unification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023), the 137th anniversary of the International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2023).

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the lasting value of the historical event on April 30, 1975. Since the national liberation, the government and people of Ben Cat town has followed the revolutionary tradition, strongly upheld the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, overcome many challenges, joined hands in building and developing the town with great achievements, creating imprints on socio-economic development, contributing to the overall achievements of the province.

On this occasion, the State President awarded the Second-class Labor Medal to the Party Committee, government and people of An Dien commune for outstanding achievements in work from 2017-2021, contributing to the cause of national defense and socialism construction. The Prime Minister awarded the certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 2 individuals with outstandings from 2017 to 2021, contributing to the cause of national defense and socialism construction. Ben Cat town’s Party Committee awarded the badges from 30 years to 75 years of Party membership to 43 Party members.

*On the morning of the same day, Ben Cat town held the inauguration ceremony of My Thanh secondary school in My Phuoc ward and the work of clearing and bending the stream flow of Cau Quan canal to Thi Tinh river. The project of My Thanh secondary school has total construction cost of more than VND 193 billion, with a scale of 4 floors, including 46 classrooms, function rooms, an amusement park, a training ground, a multi-function sports area. The work to clear and shape the stream flow of the section from Cau Quan canal to Thi Tinh river has total investment of VND 72.5 billion from provincial State budget.
