Get-together to celebrate Bau Bang district’s 9th anniversary held

Early March 31, Bau Bang district held a conference to review the local emulation movement last year, launch the emulation movement for 2023 and celebrate the 9th anniversary of Bau Bang district (April 1, 2014 – April 1, 2023).

In 2022, the district’s socio-economic situation continued growing steadily. The district’s industrial production value was more than VND 29.26 trillion, up 20.15% compared to 2021. The district attracted 145 newly registered investment projects. The district’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services was more than VND 7.91 trillion, up 24.26% compared to 2021. The district’s agricultural production value was more than VND 2.23 trillion, an increase of 4.3% compared to 2021. Up to now, the district has had 3 communes recognized as advanced new-style rural ones while the remaining 3 communes are completing criteria to be recognized as advanced new-style rural ones. On this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded the certificates of merit to 3 individuals for their excellent performance between 2017 and 2021. Provincial People's Committee presented the emulation flags to 3 collectives and the certificates of merit to 12 outstanding individuals in 2022; recognized the title of "Excellent Labor" for 6 collectives and awarded the certificates of merit to 40 individuals for their excellent performance from 2021-2022. The district’s People's Committee awarded the title of “Grassroots Emulation Soldier” to 81 individuals who excellently fulfilled their tasks in 2022.
