Get-together to mark 70 years of people’s public security and 10 years of national defense festival in Thu Dau Mot City

Late August 18, Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee organized a get-together to mark the 70 years of people’s public security establishment (August 19, 1945 to August 19, 2015) and 10 years of national defense festival (August 19, 2005 to August 19, 2015).

Being a part of Vietnamese people’s public security and under leadership of local Party Committee and authority, Thu Dau Mot City Public Security has through years made non-stop efforts to fight crimes and maintain political and social order as well as public peace and happiness. Upholding the motto of sacrificing for the nation and public services, Thu Dau Mot public security, by professional measures and planning, has policed the localities to undermine crimes and gangs to ensure local security.

To implement the assignments by the Party and the people well, Thu Dau Mot City public security has determined in promoting the movement of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh; of learning and implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s 6 teachings; of action motto of unity, activeness, discipline, responsibility, and effectiveness; of intensification and correction of work regulations and processes; of people’s public security orders and reactions; of public security forum for public feedbacks, etc.

Promoting the heroic tradition and continual merit in the two resistance wars and 30 years of reforms, Thu Dau Mot City public security has been gradually reinforced and built up strongly to be ready for duties and mission accomplishment which have been recognized by praising of 2.403 collectives and individuals at all levels.
