Gifts donated to the poor

Binh Duong provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Sub-Committee for Nun Affairs has just visited and presented gifts to poor people in Khanh Phu commune’s Nuoc Nhi village in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa.

Led by Thich Nu Phap Nhu, Deputy Head of provincial Buddhist Sangha, Head of provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Sub-Committee for Nun Affairs, the delegation offered 200 gifts, comprising of rice, instant noodles and other essential commodities, to the local poor people, with a total expense of VND120million.

*Early December 16, Lotte Mart Binh Duong in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Lai Thieu ward in Thuan An town donated 100 gifts worth VND60million, funded by Lotte Mart Vietnam and Pepsi Company, to needy people in Lai Thieu ward.

This was part of the “Lotte Mart- 10 years connecting love” program to mark the 10^th anniversary of Lotte Mart Vietnam. On this occasion, Lotte Mart Binh Duong teamed up with provincial Rehabilitation Hospital and Traditional Medicine Hospital to provide free medical check-ups and medicine for the poor in the ward.
