Gifts donated to the poor in Ben Tre

TDM city’s Red Cross Society has just held a delegation to visit and offer gifts to needy people and poor-but-excellent pupils in Binh Dai district’s Dinh Trung commune in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre.

In the visiting place, the delegation gave 50 gifts worth VND350,000 each for the above-targeted people. The delegation also donated 1,000 notebooks to Dinh Trung commune’s Studying Promotion Society; visited, offered gifts worth VND1million each to the families of war veterans with children affected by Agent Orange. All the above gifts were funded by Van Son pagoda, donors and the Red Cross Societies of communes, wards in the city.
