Gifts donated to the poor in Tien Giang

Di An town’s Red Cross Society and donors, on July 14, held a delegation to visit and offer gifts to the poor in Tan Phu Dong district’s Phu Tan commune in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang.

In the visiting place, the delegation extended best regards to the local needy people and presented 100 gifts, including rice, sugar, soya sauce, cooking oil…to them. The delegation also awarded 50 scholarships worth VND500,000 together with 10 notebooks each to poor-but-excellent pupils in Phu Dong commune.

The above gifts worth VND55million were funded by Chau Thoi, Tan Hoa and Kim Thien pagodas.
