Gifts given for needy women

The Women’s Union of An Thanh ward has just coordinated with donors to organize a program offering gifts to poor women and locals.

Particularly, the Women’s Union of the ward mobilized Hung Phat forklift truck facility to donate 60 gifts worth VND300,000 each, including rice, instant noodle, cooking oil, sugar, soya sauce, seasoning powder…, to needy cases. Its branches from Thanh Hoa B and Thanh Loc quarters also gave 3,300 kg of rice worth VND59million for these targeted people. Other branches from Thanh Quy, Thanh Loi, Thanh Binh mobilized donors to offer 105 gifts worth nearly VND17million, comprising of rice, instant noodle, cooking oil, soya sauce…, to them. In addition, many free meals were offered to them.
