Gifts given for poor-but-excellent pupils

*“Red tie” house donated to a needy pupil

Early June 23, Ben Cat town’s Women’s Union held a ceremony to present 45 gifts worth nearly VND50million, including schoolbags, books and cash, to poor-but-excellent pupils.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Thi Anh Diep, Vice-Chairwoman of the town’s Women’s Union thanked donors for their efforts in taking care of young generations while encouraging recipients to try harder in study to become obedient children, good pupils and useful citizens of the society.

*The same day, Bau Bang district’s Youth Union in collaboration with Long Nguyen commune’s Youth Union held a ceremony to hand over a “red tie” house to Duong Ngoc Dung, a 4th grader of Long Nguyen primary school in Long Nguyen commune’s Ba Phai hamlet.

The 55sq.m house has a total construction cost of VND80mln, including VND50mln from provincial Young Pioneer Organization and Kim Oanh Trading-Construction-Real Estate Joint Stock Company and the remainder from her family.

At the ceremony, Dung’s family was also presented many gifts from Long Nguyen primary school and the local mass organizations. Kim Oanh Trading-Construction-Real Estate Joint Stock Company continued supporting VND10mln for her family to build a kitchen.
