Gifts presented to the poor in Hau Giang

Provincial Red Cross Society, in collaboration with provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board and provincial Volunteers’ Club, has just visited and presented gifts to 300 poor households in three communes of Hiep Loi, Dai Thanh and Tan Thanh in Nga Bay town in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang.

It is known that each gift is worth VND400,000, including rice, instant noodle, sugar, soya sauce, clothes and cash. This charity program has a total cost of VND120mln, funded by provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board, TDM city’s Buddhist Sangha together with Buddhist nuns, monks and followers across the province.
