After 2 years of holding the “Giving Strength to Exam Season” program, offering free or low-priced support services and basic commodities including bus tickets, city maps, rooms, meals for high school graduates and university/college candidates nationwide, Thu Dau Mot University Students’ Society in cooperation with the university’s political department has mapped out plans on launching the “Giving Strength to Exam Season” program 2013. This activity is to promote students’ volunteer role in helping examinees.
Right from the end of June, nearly 300 registration applications of volunteer students were sent to Thu Dau Mot University’s youth union. Finally, 60 students were chosen to join in the program.
According to Tran Duc Hoan, vice secretary of Thu Dau Mot University youth union, before starting the 2013 university entrance exam, volunteer student force held a survey on lodging room addresses, eateries to assist examinees.
In addition, volunteer students will offer consultancy and assistance on exam location, free or low priced lodging rooms for candidates, Hoan added.
Beginning the “Giving Strength to Exam Season” program 2013, since July 1, Binh Duong University is ready to offer assistance for candidates. With about 1,000 candidates, volunteer students of the university youth union will cooperate with the provincial students’ society to pick up candidates at the provincial bus terminal to take them to free or low priced lodging rooms.
In order to offer necessary information for candidates, the “Giving Strength to Exam Season” program 2013 will be a faithful companion for candidates.
