From October 1 to 10, as implementing the plan of Dau Tieng District People's Committee on responding to National Digital Transformation Day, Binh Duong Province’s Digital Transformation Day (October 10, 2024), communes and towns in the district launched a campaign to "go to every alley, knock on every door", help each person to use services and applications to develop the digital economy and digital society.

Recently, officials, volunteers from Minh Thanh commune in Dau Tieng district, along with members of the community digital technology team, have been taking action to mark National Digital Transformation Day and Binh Duong Province Digital Transformation Day. They went to each traditional market, area, hamlet with a large number of ethnic minorities and religious people to disseminate contents of digital transformation, such as: “Universalizing digital infrastructure and innovating digital applications to develop the digital economy - a new driving force for economic growth and labor productivity”; “Developing the digital economy with four pillars: Information technology industry, digitalization of economic sectors, digital management, digital data - important driving forces for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development"; Binh Duong "steadfastly, breakthroughly, accelerates" improving the quality of digital transformation in all fields, no matter how difficult it is, it must be done, everyone must join hands, not stand aside in serving people and businesses...

In Dau Tieng town and communes of An Lap, Dinh An, Dinh Hiep, Dinh Thanh, Long Hoa, Long Tan, Minh Hoa, Minh Tan, Thanh An, Thanh Tuyen, many activities were carried out to respond to National Digital Transformation Day, such as distributing leaflets promoting Digital Transformation Day, providing instructions on registering for public services, registering for digital signatures, and the "Digital Binh Duong" app... In addition, the communes and towns also coordinated with network operators and banks to assist thousands of people and retired officials in registering for bank accounts and converting their phones from 2G to 4G for free.

Professional staff and volunteers went to each hamlet, group, and market to introduce cashless payments, e-commerce platforms, and AI applications in daily life; risk avoidance and ensure network information security so that people do not fall into "traps" in the online environment; and provide instructions on how to look up official information on the National Public Service Portal and the Binh Duong Province Administrative Procedure Information System.

All of them, the officials, volunteers, and members of the community digital technology teams are acting for the common goal of digital transformation so that each citizen forms the habit of digital citizenship, spreading the digital transformation message to every home is the common responsibility of the entire political system, contributing to the overall success of the district in digital transformation.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Huyen, a trader in Minh Tan commune, shared that in recent days, through propaganda and guidance from volunteers, many traders have gradually become accustomed to cashless payments. “This online payment method has helped me get the goods conveniently. Instead of having to bring a lot of cash to An Dong market (Ho Chi Minh City) to get goods before, now I just need to transfer money to them and it's done. This form helps me save money and travel time. In addition, I also equip the bank barcode at tmy shop so that customers can gradually get used to making money transfers," Ms. Huyen said.

People in Dau Tieng district have truly benefited from the utilities of digital transformation, such as to install useful software, register for free digital signatures, and do public services at home for all administrative procedures. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Long, a resident of Thanh Tuyen commune, said: “Digital transformation can help erase geographical distances, provide equal opportunities for our people in accessing services, and bring about great progress in the quality of life, such as: We get paid through our accounts, pay our children's school fees by bank transfer, have digital signatures and carry out administrative procedures at home... All these conveniences have helped our people improve their quality of life."
