Good preparation to welcome the ICF’s delegation

Early August 16, Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Steering Group for the Binh Duong Smart City Project.

At the meeting, Nguyen Viet Long, Director of provincial Department of Science and Technology reported on some key contents of the Binh Duong Smart City plan for 2023 and 2024. Accordingly, the province has focused on human resources, digital transformation 4.0 for businesses, green, clean cities, smart technology infrastructure. In the field of agriculture, the province has deployed the model of Bach Dang Smart Village in Tan Uyen city in association with community tourism and Phu Giao Smart Village - an eco-tourism model in association with high-tech agriculture…Whilst, representative of Binh Duong Smart City Office said that it is expected that from September 5 to 8, 2023, a  delegation of the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) will have a field trip to Binh Duong province to evaluate the construction and development of Binh Duong Smart City.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Dung assigned provincial Department of Science and Technology to be the focal point to synthesize program and project contents to report them to the Standing Board provincial Party Committee; requested the Steering Group to consider ordering for universities in the province to study specific projects, practically implementing the Binh Duong Smart City Project.

Mr. Dung also highly appreciated a plan to welcome the ICF’s delegation from Binh Duong Smart City Office while suggesting departments and sectors to have close coordination to well prepare  the work of welcoming the delegation.
