Grassroots trade union officials are awarded the mementoes "For the cause of trade union building" by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor

In 2022, the industry’s Trade Union focused on effectively performing the task of taking care of and protecting workers ‘legitimate rights & interests and developing a strong trade union organization. During the year, 3 grassroots trade unions were established, reaching 100% of the assigned target and there were nearly 5,500 new members admitted, or 121% of the set target. Up to now, 58 grassroots trade unions have signed valid collective labor agreements, or 85% of total. The industry’s Trade Union has also organized many activities to care for and protect workers’ legitimate rights and interests...

On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the memento "For the cause of trade union building" to 3 grassroots trade union officials. Provincial Labor Union awarded the emulation flags to 2 official trade unions and presented the certificates of merit to 11 collectives and 27 individuals. The industry’s Trade Union also awarded the certificates of merit to 31 collectives and 311 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of working well and building a strong trade union in 2022. The Trade Union also organized a signing ceremony with 4 units and enterprises on "Trade Union Welfare" program to provide services and preferential sales with 10% - 50% discounts for trade unionists and workers.
