Gratitude house offered to martyr’s wife in An Dien commune

On June 23, the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense held a ceremony to present a gratitude house in An Dien commune (Ben Cat Town). Attending were Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of The General Staff, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, the house was given to Phan Thi Lac, who is living in An My hamlet, An Dien commune, with an area of 80m2 including 1 living room, 2 bedrooms and 1 kitchen... Total cost of the house was VND 220 million, including VND 80 million supported by the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense, VND 20 million supported by Ben Cat Town budget, the rest was contributed by units, businesses and the family. It is known that Lac is the wife of martyr Nguyen Van Gap, who died in the resistance war against the US to save the country.

At the ceremony, in addition to receiving the new house, Lac also received gifts from the Ministry of National Defense, the Provincial People's Committee, Ben Cat Town, and local administration.
