Phu Giao district’s Steering Board for Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign has just organized a ceremony to launch the “Green Environment” and “Green Sunday” campaign 2012.

After the ceremony, more than 200 local youths cleaned up the areas around Tan Long primary school and Tan Long communal People’s Committee.

The Youth Union of the district’s Agencies Bloc also awarded 5 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to poor-but-excellent pupils at Tan Long primary school and Bui Thi Xuan junior high school. Two other Youth Unions donated VND23mln to the local program of building charity houses for the poor.
