Green planting gains over 115.5% of 2024 planning in Thu Dau Mot city

Upholding the motto of each person growing and taking care of at least one green tree, the movement of greenifying city towards a green and friendly city in 2024-2030 and the years after next in Thu Dau Mot city has lasted for 3 months to gain rewarding outcomes and strong responses of the public, contributing to elevating responsibilities and joint efforts of green planting and caring for environment protect, urban landscape improvements, and responses to climate change.

Up to date, 415,866 trees has been planted to account for 115.52% of 360,000 trees projected to be planted in 2024. The sectors, unions, and localities of the city have implemented 27 theme gardens, 2 preservation parks while enterprises and religious organizations have donated 116,121 green trees at the estimated cost of over VND 41 billion.
