Hai Phong Trade Union’s team won the 2023 National Workers' Football Championship trophy

On November 19, after three competition days in Binh Duong, the 2023 National Workers' Football Championship ended and the championship belonged to the Hai Phong Trade Union team. The concluding and awarding ceremony had the participation of Pham Tat Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Committee; Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Hoang Dao Cuong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. On the side of Binh Duong province, there was Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Binh Duong Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Hai Phong Trade Union team receive championship trophy.

With tireless efforts and reasonable tactics, Hai Phong Trade Union team excellently defeated Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union team in the final match with a score of 6-4. Previously, in the third-place match, the Information and Communications Trade Union football team won against the Saigon Water Supply Corporation Trade Union team with a score of 5-2. The Organizing Committee awarded medals and championship trophy to Hai Phong Trade Union football team, with a prize value of 150 million VND; second prize to Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union team, worth 100 million VND, and third prize to Information and Communications Trade Union team, worth 60 million VND.

The organizers also awarded additional prizes, such as: top scorer; best goalkeeper; best player; the style prize went to Binh Duong Trade Union football team. The total prize value of the 2023 National Workers' Football Championship is up to 840 million VND and many other valuable items.

* On the evening of November 18, at the Binh Duong International Exhibition Center, Binh Duong Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Organizing Committee of the 2023 National Workers' Football Championship to hold a Workers' Day program with many meaningful activities.

In addition to a special entertainment program, interactions with singers, creating an interesting playground for workers, the workers' day was organized on a large scale with more than 70 booths of businesses offering preferential sales with 10-15% discounts on all consumer goods and necessities certified as OCOP to serve workers in the province.

On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation donated 2,000 vouchers (worth 200,000 VND/voucher) to workers having difficult circumstances to buy necessities for free; presented 20 gifts to 20 workers financed by Fund to support workers having extremely difficult circumstances in Binh Duong province (10 million VND each).
