Hallmarks from “three-responsibility” movement

After more than 6 years of implementation, the “three-responsibility” movement launched by the Central Committee of the Youth Union has helped Youth Union members, especially young cadres, civil servants self-improve, mature and make contributions to the society while upholding their voluntary role in new and difficult actions of the country. Provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union has also promoted the movement among members with many hallmarks left.

Nguyen Duc Duan, Secretary of provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union said that over the past time, the “three-responsibility” movement was promoted among young cadres, civil servants and reached many results. These results were seen as a motivation for them to well fulfill their entrusted tasks.

The “three-responsibility” movement has created “smiles at workplace”, raising responsibility to work of the bloc’s young staff.

Particularly, provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union made dissemination of information about the movement in association with building the image of competent young cadres, civil servants by many forms.

The “three-responsibility” movement was associated with practical youth works and the campaign “Vietnamese youth study and follow Uncle Ho’s teaching”. All were concretized by movements, namely “Civilization at workplace-beauty of Youth Union members”, “Green office”, “Flexible Youth Union members”…The bloc’s Youth Union branches also well realized some youth works and models in association with administration reform.

Over the past time, many voluntary movements done by the bloc’s young people received a lot of sympathy from the society. They were the movements of providing free medical check-ups for policy beneficiary households and disadvantaged people; making environmental hygiene at workplace; building houses of compassion; offering help to poor-but-excellent pupils; transferring sci-tech advancements for those living in the difficult rural areas of the province…

Nguyen Duc Tham, Secretary of provincial Department of Transport’s Youth Union said that the three-responsibility movement, including “responsibility to self, responsibility to work, and responsibility to community” was implemented to each Youth Union member via quarterly meetings. Also thanks to the movement which was concretized by practical deeds, the unit last year overcame work pressures, well meeting locals’ requirements.

Possibly speaking, the “three-responsibility” movement has contributed to educating young cadres, civil servants and Youth Union members about their responsibility to work; raising their awareness and action in thrift practice, corruption and wastefulness prevention. The movement has also helped them train morals and raise their professional knowledge at work requirements in the new context.
