Handing over gratitude house to martyr's wife in Dau Tieng

On July 21, the Ministry of National Defense inaugurated and handed over a gratitude house to Tran Thi Thanh's family in Dau Tieng town’s quarter 2 in Dau Tieng district.

After more than a month of starting construction, the house was completed and handed over on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023). The house has a total value of VND 150 million, including VND 80 million from  the Ministry of Defense,  VND 30 million from the district’s Military Command and the rest  from the family. Tran Thi Thanh is the wife of martyr Le Trung Ky. Currently, her family is need of housing.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan, Political Commissar of provincial Military Command said that over the past years, the Party, State and Army paid more attention to “paying debt of gratitude”. Accordingly, provincial armed forces also carried out many concrete and practical activities to offer material and spiritual help to martyrs’ families, ward invalids, sick, wounded soldiers and revolutionary contributors in order to contribute to helping the local policy beneficiary families stabilize their lives.
