The Hanoi team won the national youth archery championship with 13 gold medals, 17 silvers, and nine bronzes at Hai Phong Sports Complex on September 8.

 

Hai Phong team ranked second with eight gold medals, five silvers and seven bronzes while Phu Tho came third with six gold medals, three silvers and seven bronzes.

 

Many athletes have been recognized for breaking records in the compound (three-string) bow and the recurve (one-string) bow events such as Tran Nguyen Tieu Anh from Hanoi, Do Thi Huong from Hai Phong and Than Thi Hang from Hanoi, Nguyen Van Luan from Hai Phong and Vu Van Dung from Phu Tho province.

 

The organising board has also recognized a master title for 36 athletes and other titles for the remaining participants.
