Head of the PCC's Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac visits, extends Tet greetings to the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Duong

Yesterday afternoon (January 15), a central delegation, led by Phan Dinh Trac, member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Head of the PPC's Commission for Internal Affairs visited and worked with provincial Party Standing Committee, Military Command and Police Agency.

Nguyen Van Loi, member of the PCC, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Vo Van Minh, Vice- Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of provincial Military Command; Colonel Trinh Ngoc Quyen, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of provincial Police Agency received the delegation.

Reporting on the local socio-economic situation, national defense and security, Party building with the delegation, Mr. Thao said the province’s outstanding results in 2022, with main targets reaching and exceeding the set plan. The province’s economic growth gained 8.01%. The province’s field of culture - society continued comprehensively being implemented with positive results. The province’s social welfare was guaranteed. The province’s national defense - security continued being strengthened and maintained. In addition, the province achieved many important results in Party building, took care of policy beneficiary families, revolutionary contributors and workers with difficult circumstances during the Tet (Lunar New Year) 2023 with a total amount of VND 270 billion, an increase of 20% compared to 2022.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr.Trac congratulated outstanding results by the province in all fields in the past year while wanting the province to further maintain and promote the local achieved results. On the occasion of the Tet festival 2023, he wished the Party Committee, authorities and people of Binh Duong province to unite, continue many new achievements, actively contributing to the common development of the whole country and welcoming the New Year with joy, happiness and success. On this occasion, the delegation also presented souvenirs to provincial Party Committee, Military Command and Police Agency.

For his part, Mr. Loi promised that the Party Committee, authorities, army and people of Binh Duong province will further strive to successfully implement tasks in 2023 while wishing Phan Dinh Trac, member of the Politburo, Secretary of the PCC, Head of the PPC's Commission for Internal Affairs and members of the delegation a healthy, happy and successful spring.

Next, the delegation visited and donated gifts to heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Ruc, born in 1923, in Thu Dau Mot city’s Phu Loi ward; visited the policy beneficiary family of Tran Thanh Liem, born in 1965, a wounded soldier with ¼ grade in Phu Loi ward. The delegation also visited and presented 30 Tet gifts to disadvantaged households in Ben Cat town’s An Tay, An Dien, Phu An communes. Each gift included VND 1 million and necessities.

Today (January 16), the delegation will visit, encourage and offer Tet gifts to workers with extremely difficult circumstances.
