Health insurance participants increase sharply

An inspection delegation of the NA standing committee led by Nguyen Van Tien, vice chairman of Committee for Social Issues paid an inspection on implementing policies and regulation relating to healthcare insurance for the 2009-2012 in Binh Duong. The provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi received and worked with the delegation.

In the 2009-2012 period, the number of health insurance participants increased sharply, mainly students, laborers.

Binh Duong social insurance signed healthcare contracts with 50 clinics across the province. The health insurance participant enjoyed health services from central to local levels.

At the working session, reps of functional units explained the done results and petitioned the central level to adjust and add terms and articles of relevant documents.
