High-level inspection delegation from Laos pays working visit to Binh Duong

Early June 6, Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee, received Head of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee's Inspection Commission and the Central Anti-Corruption Commission of Laos and President of the Lao State Inspection Authority Khamphan Homothet and a high-level delegation from the Lao State Inspection Authority.

At the reception, Mr. Minh stated that Binh Duong has consistently strived to realize a policy of promoting relations and enhancing cooperation with Lao localities in various fields, maintaining a long-standing relationship with Champassak province. Provincial leaders have frequently urged and directed the Party and authorities and state-owned corporations to actively strengthen economic exchanges and connections, seek investment opportunities, promote trade activities, support Lao officials and students studying in Binh Duong.

Khamphan Homothet spoke highly of Binh Duong’s socio-economic achievements, especially in industrial development, urbanization, administrative reform and smart administration. He affirmed that the experience of Binh Duong in public reception, internal affairs, site clearance and compensation was very practical for the delegation in addressing economic issues, preventing corruption and enhancing inspection and supervision. Lao localities wish to continue having more opportunities for mutual investment cooperation and experience exchange to realize high-level agreements between the two Parties and States, further deepening the cooperation and relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
