"For a revolution to succeed, first of all there must be a revolutionary Party"

In his journey to find a way to save the country, leader Nguyen Ai Quoc approached Lenin's Theses. As a patriot, Nguyen Ai Quoc quickly became a pioneer revolutionary soldier and a communist. "For a revolution to succeed, first of all, there must be a revolutionary party... Only when the party is strong can the revolution succeed", leader Nguyen Ai Quoc made constant efforts to promote all-round preparations to establish a communist party that could assume the role of leading the people in the struggle for national liberation.

In terms of ideology, Nguyen Ai Quoc and the communists actively spread Marxism-Leninism in Vietnam. In terms of politics, he outlined the basic issues of strategy and tactics, which were expressed in his lectures to the core cadres of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association in the years 1925-1927, published in a book titled "The Revolutionary Path" in 1927. Along with the process of ideological and political preparation, Nguyen Ai Quoc actively prepared organizationally for the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam. In 1925, he founded the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association to train and educate cadres, practice cadres and spread Marxism-Leninism in Vietnam.

In 1927-1930, with the vigorous and vigorous activities of the cadres of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association, the Vietnamese revolutionary movement made a leap forward compared to the previous period. Communist organizations were born one after another to include the Indochinese Communist Party (June 1929), the Annam Communist Party (November 1929) and the Indochinese Communist Federation (January 1930) taking on the role of revolutionary leadership.

Revolutionary nucleus in Thu Dau Mot

In Thu Dau Mot, Binh Duong, the first communist cell was established at Di An Railway Depot in January 1930. Together with the communist cell at Phu Rieng rubber plantation, Di An Railway Depot cell had a strong and direct impact on the revolutionary movement in Thu Dau Mot at the time. Binh Nham, Lai Thieu was one of the places in Thu Dau Mot province where there was a vibrant patriotic and anti-French movement with patriotic organizations such as Thien Dia Hoi (1913-1916), Nguyen An Ninh Secret Society (1923-1926). During the period of 1929-1930, a group of patriotic youth in Binh Nham commune absorbed Marxism-Leninism and the Party's revolutionary line through the propaganda of two groups of party members belonging to the Indochina Communist Federation and the Annam Communist Party in Gia Dinh and Saigon. After merging three communist organizations to form the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930), comrade Le Trong Man, the provisional Secretary of the Gia Dinh Provincial Party Committee, sent a number of comrades to work in Binh Nham commune. These party members linked up with the mass group in the secret society to mobilize the people to fight. From March to August 1930, the people of Lai Thieu area participated in many major struggles led by the Gia Dinh Provincial Party Committee. The party members working here carefully studied the situation of the masses in the Nguyen An Ninh Secret Society and selected a number of active people to be assigned core tasks of fighting, preparing for the building of the Party organization.

At the end of 1929, leader Nguyen Ai Quoc went to Hong Kong, China to prepare to convene a conference to unify communist organizations into a single Communist Party in Vietnam. The conference took place from January 6, 1930 to February 7, 1930, in Kowloon - Hong Kong (China). The event of the Communist Party of Vietnam being born and passing the correct Platform ended the period of crisis in the path to save the country and the revolutionary leadership class in Vietnam. From then on, the Vietnamese revolution had a single communist party led by the working class, the working people and the entire Vietnamese nation, in consecutive victories

In August 1930, the Communist Party cell of Binh Nham commune was established. The first class of party members included comrades: Ba Phen (doctor Ba Phen) as party cell secretary, Ho Van Cong (Hai Cong), Nguyen Van Tiet (Sau Tiet), Nguyen Van Long (Tu Chua), and Dinh Van Sang (Tam Sang).

After its establishment, the Binh Nham Commune Party Cell organized the Red Farmers' Association and the Mutual Aid Association in the kilns, sugar mills, and carpentry workshops, attracting a large number of people to participate. Under the leadership of the cell, in the last months of 1930, the local people held rallies, demonstrations, and submitted petitions to the commune council four times. The number of people participating in the struggle was expanded to Thuan Giao and Tan Khanh communes. The most notable was the rally to celebrate the October Revolution in Russia and support the Nghe Tinh Soviets that broke out in November 1930. In Binh Nham commune, the Party cell mobilized 200 people to attend the rally at Cay Dao Temple, Thuan Giao Commune, Lai Thieu District at night. At the rally, comrade Nguyen Van Tiet, on behalf of the cell, stated the purpose and significance of the victory of the October Revolution in Russia; at the same time, denounced the crimes of French colonialism and called on the people to fight for people's livelihood and democracy. During this anniversary, some neighboring places distributed leaflets "supporting the Soviet Union government".

Since its inception, the grassroots Party organization in Thu Dau Mot has closely followed the Party's guidelines and policies, operated effectively in many aspects, built a solid Party base, developed new Party members to prepare conditions for establishing more Party cells, and built secret and semi-public mass organizations. The birth and activities of communist party members in Thu Dau Mot, together with the people's vigorous struggle movement, have affirmed that in any circumstance, the people of Thu Dau Mot will still wholeheartedly follow the CPV's revolutionary flag.
