Hoang Nam’s winning streak at Copa Gatorade 2013

In the first round, the 15-year-old recovered to defeat Flanco Moral from Chile 4-6, 7-5, 6-2.   

Nam then trounced the tournament’s No. 13 seed, Tebet Filho from Brazil in straight sets 7-6, 6-0.

His next rival will be the winner of a match between No. 4 seed Luca Corinteli and Jakob Johansson Holm.

Nam has risen 37 places to 125th in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) rankings after a strong performance in the quarter-finals of the Copa Del Café Cup in Costa Rica last week.
