Hoang Thien wins championship title in Open Malaysia Tennis tournament

Vietnam’s No.1 player Nguyen Hoang Thien on March 3 won championship title in the men’s doubles event in the Open Malaysia Tennis tournament.

 

In the final round, Hoang Thien and Trongcharoenchailkul defeated Wisnu Adi Nugroho and Uneputty from Indonesia after two matches with scores of 7-6 and 6-2.

This is the second time in 2011 Thien has gained a victory in a tennis tournament in group 4 of the International Tennis Federation (ITF). With such results, he gains 30 more points in individual achievements in the world’s ranking list of young tennis players.

He will fly to Thailand for the upcoming tournament.
