House rental contract certification fees maximized to VND 8 million

By March 15, Joint Circular No. 08/2012/TTLT-BTC-BTP comes into force to regulate fee limitation of rental contracts for land-use rights, house, assets, and asset re-rental to 7-tier calculation method. Accordingly, the lowest charge will be VND 40,000 for contract value below VND 50 million and the highest VND 8 million for contract value above VND 10 billion.

As for contracts of transfering, presenting, contributing regarding land-use rights and attached-to-land assets and/or other assets, money renting contracts, mortgage deeds/assets, inheriting, and inheritance declaration, the fees will also divided up to 7 tiers to adjust to current status. As a result, the highest charge will be VND 5.2 million plus 0.03% of the amounts exceeding VND 10 billion of contract or transaction value but however high, the charges will not exceed VND 10 million.

This Joint Circular supercedes Joint Circular No. 91/2008/TTLT-BTC-BTP dated October 17th 2008.
