Houses of compassion, money donated to disadvantaged people

Provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients has just coordinated with Phu Giao district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to hand over houses of compassion to the local disadvantaged people.

Accordingly, the association built 4 houses of compassion and upgraded 2 houses for 6 disadvantaged cases in 4 communes of Tan Long, An Long, Phuoc Sang and Vinh Hoa with total cost of VND300million while offering VND120million to 15 families with difficult circumstances in 4 communes of Tan Long, An Long, Tan Hiep, Vinh Hoa, An Binh and Phuoc Vinh township. It is known that the program was funded by Timberland Co.Ltd. in Tan Uyen town.

Prior to that, the company also donated a cow worth VND25million to poor households in Phuoc Sang commune through the district’s Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients.
