Hundreds of people in Bau Bang participate in voluntary blood donation

On December 13, Bau Bang district’s Steering Board for voluntary blood donation coordinated with relevant units to organize a new campaign on voluntary blood donation.

The blood donation campaign attracted nearly 450 officials, civil servants, members, officers and soldiers of the armed forces, police agency, workers in agencies, units, schools, businesses and people from all strata. As a result, the organizers received 359 units of blood, equivalent to 125,650 milliliters of blood. This amount of blood was handed over to Ho Chi Minh city-based Cho Ray Hospital-based Blood Transfusion Center for preservation in order to serve medical treatment and emergency in the near future.
