Mr. Rang said happily: “To have a good health, I always adhere to moderate regimen, take exercises every day”.

Before climbing to the top of Fansipan, he carried a backpack and climbed up 4 floors, or 68 stairs, in his house every day. Every morning, he climbed up and down the stairs 50 times, or 3,400 stairs, in 2.5 hours. This exercise helped him to be familiar with climbing slopes, regulate breathing, and increase body strength.

Vietnamese Record organization also recognized Mr. Rang as “Elderly person climbed artificial mountain peaks at 16 meters two times at Phan Dinh Phung Sport center”.
