Impressive festival for Vietnamese students in Russia

As many as 200 students who excel in their studies and youth movements in Russia attended a festival in Moscow on September 27-28. In a report, Truong Duy Phuc, a Moscow-based Vietnamese Embassy official in charge of student affairs, highlighted Vietnamese students’ achievements in their studies and scientific research, describing them as outstanding results. Ambassador Pham Xuan Son appreciated the assistance the former Soviet Union and now Russia have provided to Vietnam, and confirmed bilateral cooperation in education and training is practical and necessary for national development and construction. President of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Russia Do Xuan Hoang acknowledged Vietnamese students’ outstanding achievements and encouraged them to study hard to make more contributions to the Vietnamese community in Russia and the homeland. The organizing board presented awards to exemplary role models in studies and youth movements in Russia. The festival was concluded with art performances by more than 200 Vietnamese students studying at universities across Russia. VOV
