Improvement of industrial compounds’ shortcomings to be set out

The provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Tran Thanh Liem and leaders of departments and agencies yesterday paid a survey at industrial compounds of Binh Chuan, An Thanh and unprompted business-concentrated areas in Thuan An town.

Reportedly, Thuan An town now has 2 industrial compounds of An Thanh and Binh Chuan with the total area of 113.6ha. The two industrial compounds have completed infrastructure facility as planning and lured 24 local and foreign businesses. The industrial compounds’ biggest difficulty lies in the absence of concentrated waste water treatment plants. In addition, areas of Binh Chuan and An Phu now have nearly 500 businesses located amid residential areas. This will surely cause a bad impact on living environment.

After a real survey, Liem said that it is necessary to have proper solutions to improve shortcomings of the industrial compounds and areas. Based on real situation, the province will set out orientations of development for the areas.
